Fireside chair and ottoman upholstered in beige-green woollen cloth
The chauffeuse has a parallelipedic wood and metal structure, with a straight backrest and a low L-shaped seat, the seat cushion adorned with a darker green buttoned braid motif, the backrest has two oval-section cushions, topped by a round-section headrest; black lacquered metal hexagonal-section legs resting on a large black plastic and gilded brass Shepherd-branded castor;
Steiner metal label, no. 12721;
The rectangular ottoman covered with the same cloth rests on four cylindrical feet in patinated brass ending in a large pastille;
Steiner metal label no. 13234.
The woollen cloth is original with some stains and wear; seat straps on the chaise longue have been replaced.
