Awesome vintage typewriter from the 1980s!
Model: Remington Sperry Idol from 1980, with a serial number stamped on the back.
Built as a student portable, nice and handy and small enough to easily take with you!
As you often see with portable typewriters, the "1" is missing. You create it by typing the lowercase letter l. Handy, right?
A choice had to be made in the characters, so the "1" was omitted.
An exclamation mark is created by typing a ., back key, and then a high dash ', which creates a !.
Nice bright color and this machine types smoothly, what more could you want?
Includes the original carrying case that closes the machine and has a handle.
A collector's item!
