This plate is a superb example of Spanish Mid-Century Modern studio pottery from the 60s/70s. It depicts a stylized fish with the expressive, large eyes so characteristic of Puigdemont. The plate is hand-painted in vibrant shades of green, cobalt blue, and ochre yellow on an atmospheric, speckled background.
