This rare vintage IKEA wall lamp (Type V610) is an early and sought-after design icon from the 1980s. The minimalist design is by the renowned Danish designer Bent Gantzel-Boysen, who headed the Louis Poulsen design team in the 1970s. That craftsmanship is immediately evident in the clean lines and high-quality lighting. The lamp consists of a round, white metal saucer base with an elegant, semi-circular plastic dome resting on a raised metal frame. Thanks to this construction, the lamp spreads a beautiful, atmospheric, and diffused light across the wall or ceiling.
