An absolute design classic from the 70s! This iconic "Space Age" pendant lamp, produced by the renowned Belgian manufacturer Massive, is a beautiful example of futuristic mid-century modern design. With its bold combination of gleaming chrome and bright orange plastic, this is a guaranteed eye-catcher in any vintage or eclectic interior.
Design & Details
The lamp is characterized by the wide chrome band featuring the distinctive geometric circle pattern. Through the cutouts in the chrome, the orange of the shade glows subtly outwards, creating a beautiful light effect. The underside features the original plastic diffuser (grid plate), which ensures a warm, diffuse light distribution without being blinding.
Condition and Quality
This lamp is in excellent vintage condition. The chrome still reflects beautifully, and the orange shade is free from heat damage or deformation—something unique for these plastic models from the seventies. The lamp has been fully cleaned and technically inspected.
