A stunning vintage Space Age floor lamp, attributed to J. Hoogervorst for Anvia Almelo. Featuring two adjustable orange eyeball shades, a slim chrome stem and a heavy black metal base, this is the kind of piece that instantly transforms a room. A typical vintage detail is the switch mounted on the stem. Both light sources can be switched on together or separately, and both the switch and the eyeball shades slide along the stem, making the lamp fully adjustable. Perfect as a reading lamp, mood light or eye-catching statement piece. The lamp is in good vintage condition with normal signs of age. The chrome is beautifully preserved, while the orange shades and black stem show some paint wear consistent with over 50 years of use, and two small dents.
