A rare vintage Czech design classic – straight from the iconic Sklo Union collection!
Discover this beautiful, heavy, clear art glass vase designed by Vladislav Urban for Rosice (Sklo Union, Czechoslovakia) in the mid-1960s-1970s. A perfect example of mid-century modern Bohemian design with the characteristic bubble relief pattern.
Height: approx. 20 cm, weight: 1.3 kg.
Pattern: Deep, oval/egg-shaped, indented bubbles (approximately 7 mm deep) – sculptural and tactile, with a wavy, organic top edge for a dynamic silhouette.
Material & Technique: Thick, brilliantly clear optically pressed/mold-blown glass with a hand-finished finish – feels luxurious and heavy in the hand.
Bottom: Beautiful, flat, round, polished pontil mark – typical of high-quality export pieces from that period (not a rough scar, but professionally cut for a neat finish).
Condition: Excellent vintage – no chips, scratches, or restorations. Beautifully clear, no clouding.
