Product description
Vintage, signed, framed, pencil sketches/illustration/fashion design drawing, circa 1950's. Piece features a very sleek fashion design done in pencil, of two, female silhouettes, typical of the epoch. It is signed by French fashion artist, Berthe Duquaine, and dated "30 Janvier 1951" (01/30/1951) at the back of the drawing (see photo.) This piece is in overall very good, original and vintage condition, as it has been well-preserved. Very light signs of age commensurate with time, on the paper. No tears or rips (see photos.) It is surrounded by a black matte, with white, chamfered edging, behind clean glass inside the frame, which has no cracks or chips (see photos.) The brushed metal frame, has some light marks, signs of age and previous use commensurate with time, as well as a patina of time, on the front, sides, edges and back, that only adds to its charm (see photos.) At the back of the frame, there is a hook, so it can be easily mounted onto a wall (see photos.) All photos taken in natural light, so colors may vary, based upon brightness, reflections, angles and perspective in which they are viewed. DIMENSIONS: Height: 18.7 cm Width: 13 cm Depth: 1.5 cm
