This stylish vintage sideboard is an original piece of furniture from the 1960s and impresses with its elegant design language and high-quality workmanship in Mid - Century design.
The body consists of a single element and was originally part of a living room cabinet combination. The surfaces are finished with fine Makoré (African pear wood) and birch veneer. Individual sections have an additional dark matt finish, giving the furniture an expressive contrast.
The four drawers with fine decorative strips and brass handles deserve special attention, giving the piece of furniture a timeless, elegant accent.
The lowboard offers a wide range of uses - whether in the living room, hallway or as a TV shelf.
A real collector's item for lovers of vintage furniture from Germany.
➡️ Size:
188 cm x 50 cm x 43 cm (width x depth x height)
➡️ Condition:
The piece of furniture is stable, functional and shows no signs of damage. Signs of use are present. Crack lines can be seen in the lacquer on the fronts of the drawers. As these tend to support the vintage character and do not impair the function, we have deliberately preserved them.
➡️ Reconditioning:
The furniture has been thoroughly cleaned. Light restoration work has been carried out, such as renewing the surface of the large storage area and sides of the furniture (stained and varnished). We clean and treat all other wooden surfaces intensively with specially purified linseed oil in combination with an odorless and residue-free hydrocarbon solvent. This method is recommended by restorers.
