Scandinavian rosewood sideboard - Danish design from the 60s
This rosewood sideboard is an iconic piece of Scandinavian design from the 1960s. Made in Denmark, it embodies the minimalist elegance typical of Nordic furniture from this period, with sober lines, balanced proportions and high quality craftsmanship.
The wood features the deep, rich grain characteristic of rosewood, giving the piece an immediate visual warmth. The recessed handles in the doors reinforce the formal unity of the piece, while underlining the attention to detail.
Behind the doors are large storage compartments, adjustable by means of repositionable shelves. This low sideboard can accommodate crockery, documents or objects of daily use with refinement.
The piece has been fully restored to its original patina: fine hand-sanding and application of a natural wax. It is in very good condition, ready to join a contemporary, vintage or mixed interior.
