A fairly large vintage painting from the 1950s-60s, oil on canvas board, unsigned original. Vertical format, a nude portrait of a seated woman with an innocent expression. Modern style, School of Paris, or regional school of Loir-et-Cher, post-Fauvist, post-Impressionist, beautiful technique, very fine color nuances in the background and skin.
Unframed, 55 x 46 cm, 4 mm thick. Very good overall condition, slight wear consistent with age, no major visible defects except for a slight, discreet warping of the board towards the back in the center. Approximately 900 g, no hanging hardware on the back. From a small group of works by the same unidentified artist, with a singular and sensitive style, typical of the figurative modernism of the 1950s-60s.
