Product description
Geneviève Claisse is a French painter born in 1935, the niece of the famous artist Auguste Herbin. In 1958, she exhibited her work for the first time in Paris (Galerie Hybler) and Cambrai (Galerie Caille). The following year, she moved to Paris. It was during this period that she began collaborating with her uncle, sharing her studio with him. Working in geometric abstraction, she pays particular attention to the purity of form and color.
