Safari chair by Abel Gonzales, made of saddle leather and mahogany in Argentina, late 1960s. The chair features beautifully patinated saddle leather upholstery that gives it character. The solid wood, open frame has a well-proportioned design. Straight lines and geometric shapes give the design structure and dynamism. A nice detail is the visible stitching on the leather. The chair is in neat vintage condition with light signs of use. The leather seat needs to regain its shape somewhat, after having been stored in the attic for years.
Dimensions are as follows: height 76 cm, width 66 cm, depth 66 cm.
