Beautiful vintage Royal System wall unit designed by Poul Cadovius, Denmark, during the 1960s. Crafted in teak, this iconic modular shelving system is celebrated for its elegant Scandinavian design, exceptional versatility and innovative wall-mounted construction.
This configuration comprises seven shelves, a magazine shelf, a cabinet with woven front, a sliding-door cabinet and a drawer unit, creating a beautifully balanced combination of open display space and concealed storage. The warm teak grain, clean architectural lines and modular design are hallmarks of Cadovius' most celebrated work and make the Royal System one of the defining icons of Danish Mid-Century Modern furniture.
The wall unit is presented in great original vintage condition with only minor age-related signs of use, consistent with its age.
