Product description
A charming red glass table lamp made in France by Société Centrale d’Éclairage (SCE), a company based in the Ariège region specializing in the design and manufacture of decorative lighting.
Founded in the mid-20th century, SCE was located in Lézat-sur-Lèze, Ariège, where over the decades it developed numerous lighting designs with contemporary and decorative lines. This French-made product is now sought after for its vintage aesthetic and authentic character.
With its red glass and simple silhouette, this small lamp will easily find its place on a console table, bedside table, bookcase, or small side table, whether in a vintage interior or a more contemporary setting.
The lamp is in good overall condition. It shows some minor losses of red paint, particularly on the upper rim, evidence of its age and use. These marks are discreet and contribute to the charm of this antique piece.
