Vintage Postmodern Design Floor Lamp – 80s/90s
Unique vintage floor lamp with a beautiful sculptural design, presumably from the 80s / early 90s.
The lamp features a slender white metal stand on a striking, organically shaped five-legged base. The large oval reflector can be tilted and directed and is equipped with two curved handles. A fine functional detail that gives the lamp its characteristic futuristic appearance.
Typical postmodern design: minimalist and elegant, yet simultaneously playful and almost Space Age in form. Even when not lit, it is a remarkable object in the interior.
The lamp uses halogen lighting and has a foot switch/dimmer on the cord. This no longer works but is repairable.
Condition: vintage condition with signs of use consistent with its age; the base in particular shows some discoloration/patina. See photos.
