Wooden planter box made by Olaio, Portugal. Olaio was a renowned Portuguese furniture manufacturer, founded in the early 20th century and particularly known for its distinctive mid-century designs. The company became an important name in Portuguese modernist furniture, combining practical forms with quality craftsmanship and materials. Today, vintage Olaio pieces are sought after for their authentic Portuguese character, clean lines and strong connection to the country’s mid-century design heritage. The planter is made of plywood with solid wood trimming and feet. It has an original Olaio metal label on it. Although it doesn't show original wood finish, it is still a very nice retro/vintage decorative piece. The box has been repainted white and decorated with hand-painted floral design. Measurement: Height 40cm Width/Depth at the top 28cm Width/Depth at the bottom 23cm Condition: New paint work.
