This vintage plate from the Liane series was manufactured by Plateelbakkerij Flora Gouda in the 1950s. The design is characterized by an asymmetrical shape and refined, hand-painted lines typical of post-war Dutch ceramics. The object is made of ceramic with a cream-colored base, on which an abstract, organic pattern in dark green and black has been applied. The underside is clearly marked with the Flora Gouda Holland stamp and the 'handpainted' designation, confirming its authenticity and origin from the Netherlands. The plate is in excellent vintage condition, with the original glaze and hand-painted details well preserved. The object shows the characteristic craftsmanship of the Gouda pottery industry from the mid-twentieth century. This decorative piece comes into its own in a Mid-Century Modern interior or as part of a collection of Dutch design. It can be presented both lying down and standing up on a dresser or in a display cabinet.
