Product description
The Pistillino is an iconic wall and table lamp, designed around 1969 by the avant-garde Studio Tetrarch and produced by Valenti Luce in Milan.
The design is inspired by the pistil of a flower, a central light source from which dozens of chrome-plated tendrils radiate, like stamens in full bloom.
Made of chrome-plated ABS plastic, the lamp creates a dazzling light effect as soon as it is switched on.
Can be placed on the wall, ceiling, or freestanding on a table, and remains a sculptural object even when switched off.
Original pieces are marked "Valente C. Milano Mod. Pistillino Dep. Design Studio Tetrarch."
The Pistillino is a beloved collector's item within Space Age and Mid-Century design and is appreciated for its playful, futuristic aesthetic. Dimensions: H / Ø 15.5cm / 33cm (896g)

Some minor signs of wear due to its age (including some loss of chrome on a few buttons, see photos 7, 8, and 9), but it still shines beautifully!
