Vintage Pin Age Side Table – Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen Description: For sale: An icon of Scandinavian mid-century design. This original "Pin Age" side table was designed by world-renowned architect Arne Jacobsen for the Danish manufacturer Fritz Hansen (circa 1968). The table excels in simplicity and elegance. The square top is finished with beautiful beech veneer and rests on the characteristic chrome hairpin legs. Why this design is unique: It is a very practical piece of furniture; the legs are spring-loaded and can be easily clicked into or removed from the base. This makes the table easy to store and transport, without compromising its stability.
