Rare designer brooch by Pierre Cardin (late 1970s/early 1980s). This minimalist and graphic piece perfectly embodies the "Power Dressing" aesthetic of the era. Its ingenious design allows it to be worn two ways: as an elegant brooch or as a pendant on a chain (see photos). It consists of rigid gold-plated rods suspended from a modernist knot, adorned with deep midnight blue enamel drops and pavé rhinestones. Gold plated. Signature: Pierre Cardin engraved on the back.
