Vintage pair of Art Deco rosaline candlesticks made of pink glass and produced by Pavillons in the 1920s. This stylish pair of pink pressed glass candlesticks brilliantly reflects the refined decorative style of the Art Deco period. Manufactured by the Pavillons glass factory at the Verreries & Flaconneries Mécaniques de Beignée in Ham-sur-Heure, Belgium, between 1920 and 1930, the candlesticks combine a sculptural style with subtle color, resulting in a refined yet playful appearance. Each candlestick features an elegantly twisted column that reflects light and diffuses it through the soft pink glass. The scalloped candle holders and ribbed round bases contribute rhythm and symmetry to the design, while the translucent pink color lends the elements a warm and romantic look, especially when illuminated by candlelight. The blend of geometric precision and flowing spiral movements is characteristic of early Art Deco glass production, in which practical household items were transformed into decorative works of art. The pressed glass technique allowed richly textured surfaces to interact beautifully with light from any angle. These candlesticks are recorded in the original Pavillons catalogues under the name "Chandelier torsé". The twisted candlestick is an authentic example of Belgian mechanical glassblowing dating from the Art Deco era. These candlesticks are both elegant and timeless, making them suitable for both modern and vintage interiors. Displayed as a pair, they bring a subtle dose of glamour and an authentic Art Deco atmosphere to any room. These candlesticks are in good vintage condition.
