The perfect addition to a modernist interior in the Scandinavian-modern style.Gunnar Herman Berglund, born November 9, 1906 in Helsingborg and died in 1992, was a Swedish painter and illustrator.Berglund studied at Skånska målarskolan 1939-1940 and for William Nording in Öland 1942 as well as studying watercolor at the Danish Academy of Fine Arts 1946-1947 and in London and at the Academy of the Grande Chaumiere in Paris 1947. He exhibited separately in Kalmar, Malmö, Ystad. Ängelholm and Kristianstad. He participated in group exhibitions with the General Association of Swedish Arts, the Gothenburg Art Association and the Skåne Art Association. He participated in the group exhibition The Twelve in Ystad in 1949. His art consists of figures, coastal motifs and landscapes painted in oil, tempera, gouache and watercolor, as well as drawings. Berglund is represented at the Malmö Museum.
