Product description
Rare Post-Modern Blue Neon Floor Lamp designed by Rudi Stern and Dan Chelsea for the Let There Be Neon Gallery in New York in 1983, with lighting elements supplied by George Kovacs. The brushed stainless steel center column is 4 inches wide, and is offset at a 45 degree angle from the base. Let There Be Neon Gallery was instrumental in the proliferation of neon as an art form in the 1970s and 1980s, with commissioned works by Nam June Paik, Jeff Koons and Keith Haring, to name a few. The lamp post has been fully cleaned, restored and electrified, and is in beautiful vintage condition.
