Product description
This vase is a perfect example of Scandinavian minimalism from 1960s. Combining a raw form with an organic, handcrafted character. The vessel features a simple, cylindrical shape, and its edges retain natural, subtle irregularities that reflect its handmade origin. The eye is drawn primarily to the unique surface finish, where dynamic, blending patches of deep cobalt and light blue interweave with gray, matte abrasions. The natural, beige clay emerges here and there from beneath the textured coating, creating an interesting contrast of textures. The dark, raw interior of the vase further emphasizes its primal, clay nature. The entire piece is displayed on a geometric concrete pedestal, which perfectly harmonizes with the modern, toned-down wabi-sabi aesthetic and Nordic design.
