Beautiful, hand-blown glass art bowl in Italian Murano / Empoli style. The bowl features an incredibly dynamic swirl pattern (tortoiseshell swirl) in warm tones such as amber, brown, terracotta, and black. A true eye-catcher that catches the (sun)light fantastically! This is an authentic, handmade vintage object. This is immediately visible on the underside: the bowl has a beautifully polished base and a subtle, flowing pontil mark in the center (the hallmark of handcrafted work, not mass-produced from a mold). As is often the case with vintage glassware, there is no maker's mark present, as the paper labels have disappeared over the years. The bowl is perfect for use as a unique fruit bowl, serving bowl, or purely as a decorative design piece on the coffee table or dining table. Specifications: * Material: Hand-blown art glass * Diameter: 20 cm * Height: 7.5 cm * Condition: In excellent vintage condition (no chips or cracks, minimal signs of use on the bottom). Both pickup and carefully insured shipping are possible (shipping costs and risk for the buyer). It will, of course, be wrapped very thickly in bubble wrap.
