A stunning vintage light sculpture, an iconic table lamp dating back to the 1970s, fully in the glorious tradition of modernist design and Italian Space Age style. The interlocking composition strongly recalls the famous Murano glass geometric module systems developed by master Carlo Nason for the historic AV Mazzega glassworks (model "Charlie" / tesserae series). Main features: Diffuser: Sculptural structure made up of independent "C"-shaped modules/tesserae in heavy Murano crystal, worked freehand with a spectacular textured finish (ice/bark effect). This type of workmanship refracts the light in an incredible way, creating warm, vibrant and never dazzling reflections. Stem and Base: Elegant minimalist stem structure with a flat circular base in polished chrome-plated metal, in perfect mirrored condition. Light Effect: When turned on, the lamp transforms into a true jewel of luminous ice, offering a scenic and highly atmospheric accent light. Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The chrome-plated structure shows no foxing or rust and all the glass modules are completely intact, without chips, cracks or missing parts (a very rare aspect for lamps of this size). (type).
