Exceptional vintage Murano glass pendant lamp from Italy, dating from the 1970s. The lamp features a beautifully shaped bell-form shade made of glossy white Murano glass, decorated with distinctive flowing bands in soft pink and grey. The sweeping linear pattern follows the sculptural form of the glass and gives the lamp a very characteristic and elegant Italian design appearance. The combination of opaline white glass, delicate pastel pink and contrasting grey makes this piece particularly decorative while remaining refined and timeless. The shade has a strong sculptural presence and looks equally striking when switched on or off. The lamp retains its vintage suspension, ceiling cup, metal fittings and E27 socket.
