Vintage modular shelving unit/wall cabinet, German made, 1980s.
A true one-of-a-kind wall cabinet! Never encountered one like it before, and even the designer is unknown. Perhaps it is even a showpiece of one's own making; we will never know.
Dark grey coated metal tubular frame that runs around the cabinet like a ‘border’. The elegant sled base ‘supports’ the lower cabinet, and the rest of the compartments/shelves hang within the metal frame and are interconnected for stability.
Some parts are closed at the back, while others have an open back.
The cabinet is finished in beech veneer with a beautiful visible wood grain. The back is neatly finished, so the cabinet can even be used freestanding as a room divider. A nice eye-catcher for a hospitality establishment, shop, display window, or of course, just at home. Please note: it is larger than you expect and can be transported in its entirety.
