Product description
Vintage jardinère / footed bowl from the renowned Modica factory in Gouda. This is an item from the sought-after 'Vulcana' series (model number 231) from the 1960s/70s.
The bowl features a striking red glaze combined with a gold-brown drip glaze rim. The interior is white/light grey. The underside of the foot is finished with a grainy 'volcanic' textured glaze that is characteristic of this series.
