Beautiful vintage Model 118 lounge chair designed by Grete Jalk for France & Daverkosen, Denmark. This early production example dates from 1955 and is a wonderful representation of Jalk's elegant and functional approach to Danish Modern furniture.
Crafted with a beautifully sculpted solid teak frame, the chair showcases the refined organic lines and exceptional craftsmanship that have made Grete Jalk one of the most celebrated Danish designers of the Mid-Century period.
The original spring core has been professionally reupholstered in a high-quality green upholstery fabric, preserving the chair's comfort while complementing its timeless design. The frame remains in very neat vintage condition with only light age-related signs of use.
