An ornate heavily carved vintage Italian gilt wood mirror.
Rare model with music-making angels!
Dating from the mid-20th century, bold, palatial format, finished in luxurious neoclassical flavor, with a rich, deep red mahogany finish
Crowned by an exuberantly shaped crest decorated with highly stylized acanthus leaf and foliate vine decorations in relief.
The sides of the elegant frame have tall fluted columns with intricately detailed Corinthian capitals, flanking the large, central pass mirror, with top and bottom embellished with deeply carved and gilt classic scrolled acanthus leaf design.
