Are you looking for a statement piece of lighting for your home? And do you love the 60s/70s as well? And are you not too sensitive to signs of wear and tear, but primarily an enthusiast of design, quality, charm, and durability?
Then this might just be the lamp for you.
We have here a stunning lamp that was possibly produced in the 60s/70s by one of the companies such as Lakro/Dijkstra/Anvia (Netherlands), or possibly Vitrika (whether or not in collaboration with Orrfors from Sweden). Peil & Putzler was also often commissioned to supply the glass during this period by various lamp manufacturers and design agencies. There is no label present; please keep this in mind.
This large lamp, 48 cm in diameter, features a separate aluminum ring (presumably) that is placed on top of a cut crystal glass ornament. The decorative cutouts (also known as rosettes), together with the glass diffusers, create a brilliant light, atmosphere, and appearance. Dimensions (always approx.):
Shade diameter: 48 cm
Height of lamp itself with shade: 36.5 cm
Glass diameter: 31 cm
Cord height: 16 cm
There are indeed signs of use. Please see the photos; there are some small dents on the aluminium ring at the top, and scuff marks on the bottom. We stand for sustainability, because something that has seen life doesn't have to be thrown away.
In short: a lamp that has lived, completely original, yet fully intact and working. The glass is undamaged.
This deserves a beautiful spot for someone to enjoy it, and deserves a place where the lamp can truly come into its own. That is why we are offering it for what we consider a fair and fitting price.
The lamp will be partially disassembled and shipped excellently packaged and insured by our partner. Please feel free to contact us for more information.
