Product description
Vintage mid-century FM Konstglas Ronneby glass duck figurine set from the 1970s. These hand-blown glass birds in blue, black, and transparent glass were made by FM Konstglas Ronneby in Sweden. The effect of feathered bubbles is called "fumato," which means "smoked." In this technique, the glass is exposed to smoke, giving it a smoky color as particles of unburned coals and ash from the smoke are absorbed into the glass. The glass ducks are in excellent vintage condition. The large duck is 15 cm long, 11 cm high, and has a diameter of 8 cm. The small duck is 10 cm long, 7.7 cm high, and has a diameter of 5.2 cm. The duck figurines are in excellent vintage condition.
