Product description
This elegant coffee table was designed by Severin Hansen for the Danish manufacturer Haslev Møbelsnedskeri during the 1960s. It is finished with beautiful rosewood in a dark, intense shade with a distinct grain. The wood's deep, dark brown color contrasts with the rich, irregular grain, creating a mesmerizing interplay of light and shadow. Each section of the tabletop is a unique representation of nature, making this piece a true work of art. The table impresses with its clean, geometric lines, characteristic of Danish modernism of the 1960s. The precise joints between the legs and the tabletop are particularly noteworthy. Haslev Møbelsnedkeri is a traditional Danish manufacturer that has been making furniture since the early 1950s. Each Haslev product is made from only the best parts of wood. Especially tables made of beech wood and moving parts are classics of Scandinavian design. In the 1970s, Haslev Møbelsnedskeri, together with Royal Copenhagen, produced a series of coffee tables with ceramic decoration. To this day, Haslev continues to produce high-quality hand-finished furniture in the old furniture tradition.
