Product description
A nice and cheerful little vase in original Mid-Century Modern ceramics. This vintage vase was made in the 1960s by Bay Keramik. The model stands out due to its characteristic angular design with broad shoulders.
The vase has a matte, dark brown base color, featuring a geometric abstract mosaic pattern. Within the fine white sgraffito lines, the sections are hand-colored with glossy pop-art accent glazes in ochre yellow, turquoise blue, and pastel green. The bottom shows "West-Germany 606-20".

Condition: The mosaic decoration and the glaze on the body are completely intact and have beautiful, bright colors. There are two small chips on the underside of the foot ring (the base). These are barely noticeable when placed down and do not affect the decorative value (see photos). This matte brown vase has some 'wear'.
