Beautiful vintage armchair produced by Mahjongg Vlaardingen, the iconic Dutch furniture factory from the 1960s. The design is attributed to the Danish designer Johannes Andersen.
The frame:
Crafted in dark wenge wood with the characteristic floating armrests and dangling backrest — typical of the refined craftsmanship of Mahjongg Vlaardingen. The wood is in excellent condition.
The upholstery:
The chair has been professionally reupholstered in cream bouclé fabric — a timeless and currently highly sought-after fabric that perfectly complements the organic frame.
Condition:
Very good vintage condition with normal signs of use commensurate with age. Frame sturdy and stable. Stamp present under the seat (no longer legible due to age).
