With its clean lines and clever layout, this Made to Measure cabinet is a beautiful example of the functional design that made Cees Braakman and Pastoe so famous in the 1960s. Crafted from warm-toned teak and featuring those characteristic dust-resistant drawers – a sleek design with both practical and stylish purpose. The cabinet combines open and closed storage with a subtle asymmetry that makes the design exciting without being overdone. Two flap cabinets at the top provide access to a fresh white interior with lacquered shelves and fine compartments, ideal for tableware, paperwork, or curiosities. Below, you'll find three spacious drawers and a double-door cabinet section, perfect for anything you want to keep out of sight. The top has recently been professionally re-lacquered, restoring the cabinet's fresh appearance without losing the wood's patina. Two of the handles have been replaced with custom-printed replicas, meticulously matched to the original shape, size, and sheen – virtually indistinguishable from the real thing. These handles are made in-house and are also sold separately, specially developed for Pastoe furniture restorations. A timeless statement that fits effortlessly into a modern or eclectic interior.
