Beautiful vintage AJ Royal 500 pendant lamp designed by iconic Danish architect and designer Arne Jacobsen for Louis Poulsen. Originally designed in 1957 for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, this lamp has since become a modernist design icon.
The lamp is finished in a stylish gray/anthracite lacquer, with a white interior for optimal light reflection. Characteristic are the concentric openings on top, which spread a subtle light upwards. The lamp features four E27 fittings, providing powerful and even illumination - perfect above a dining table, conference table or in a spacious hallway.
The lamp is in good vintage condition with slight signs of use, as shown in the photos.
