Alain Winance is a Belgian artist born in 1946. He studied at the Beaux-Arts in Mons, where in 1973 he was appointed professor of engraving. Winance has won numerous awards. Since 1976, he has exhibited his works in Belgium, France, Morocco and Spain. In 2004, as part of Europalia 2002 at the National Art Museum in Bucharest.
