The Rudy Project Noosa (with model number-format SN 450911) is a classic vintage sports glasses model that was originally introduced in the late 1990s (around 1997). It is recognizable by its bug-eye design and silver finish. Although the model was primarily designed at the time as a road cycling and multi-purpose sports glasses with an aerodynamic 'Airflow' frame, this type is also often used as lightweight ski goggles due to its wide, wrap-around lens shape and good wind protection. Although the name Noosa often appears in advertisements or search queries—partly due to Rudy Project's historical link with major triathlons and cycling events such as the famous Noosa Classic—the exact model pictured is the Rudy Project Tayo. This specific version features a silver frame, mirrored lenses, and the characteristic ventilation slots above the nose bridge and on the sides of the lenses. At the time, the glasses were praised for their aerodynamic properties and excellent protection during cycling. The glasses have been worn, but have no damage and are still in excellent condition.
