Product description
A generously sized vintage leather sofa in dark brown leather, dating from the late 1970s. The design exemplifies the voluminous, comfort-oriented design language of this era, combining a striking presence with a softly upholstered, inviting appearance. The highly segmented upholstery of the seat and backrest is characteristic. Numerous individually stitched upholstery segments create a rhythmic, almost graphic structure, giving the sofa its distinctive look. The high, slightly reclined backrest is framed by wide, softly upholstered armrests that flow seamlessly into the closed, low-profile frame. The patina developed over the years on the dark brown leather is particularly beautiful. Creases, variations in color, and the pronounced patina of the seat underscore the authentic vintage character and give the sofa a warm, lived-in feel. Despite its compact width, the design possesses a strong presence thanks to the high backrest and generous upholstery, while simultaneously appearing balanced and architectural. Condition: Good vintage condition with noticeable signs of age and use on the leather. The seat and armrests, in particular, show significant wear, scratches, and discoloration.
