Vintage Glass small bonbonniere made of lead crystal, produced by the national company Courtenay Royal Crystal Rock / RCR / Italy in 1970s.
The bottom and lid are decorated with a handmade cut geometric motive.
Excellent vintage condition.

Lead crystal is a refined material that has been developed for hundreds of years as a substitute for rock crystal. Lead crystal usually contains 24% lead oxide (PbO) and is used in the production of traditional crystal products with rich grinding. PbO and its correct ratio in the enamel ensure a brilliant shine of the final product and an irresistible play of lights, which stands out when breaking in cut glass. Lead oxide in the glass ensures that perfect shine and refraction of light.
