Product description
Beautiful, highly distinctive, vintage black and yellow desk lamp in Bauhaus style, with an exceptionally large shade that can be tilted to multiple positions, allowing the light to be dimmed as desired. The lamp was produced in the 1950s by LBL of Leipzig (formerly Körting und Mathiesen AG; brand name Kandem) during the GDR era. The lamp is in perfect condition and includes its original cord.
According to tradition, these lamps were used by the Stasi (Ministry of State Security) of the GDR.
