Nothing brings a room together like a mirror can! Mirrors are beautiful objects, functional as well as tremendously decorative. They create the illusion of space, they bring a room together and can fill a blank wall with the reflection of the other side of the room. Using a mirror is a great way to open up a space without really having to do very much for it. And as mentioned, mirrors by themselves are wonderfully decorative, especially round mirrors.
Look around your home. Aren't the shapes of the furniture, like the table the closet, the door, the windows, you name it, all square or rectangular? Maybe you never noticed, but it's funny to realize it, isn't it? You can break these straight lines very nicely by using a round mirror. You will see that a round mirror can soften the space.
