Tecla Table Lamp by Noti Massari and Roberto Pamio
Leucos SPA - Murano
Italy - 1965
A true classic of Italian design, the Tecla lamp is entirely handmade and mouth-blown in the Murano glass workshops.
The lamp is sublime and in perfect condition.
It is made entirely of opaline glass, including the white rim.
It rests on a very heavy base of white lacquered steel.
Noti Massari (1939– ), Venetian by birth, culture, and choice, graduated in architecture in 1967 from the class of Carlo Scarpa (1906–1978). He collaborates with numerous Italian design companies, creating lighting and furniture projects for Vistosi, Artemide, Foscarini, Stilwood, Venini, and Leucos. He participates in many conferences and exhibitions, including those at the Palazzo Grassi and the Querini Stampalia Foundation in Venice, as well as group exhibitions at the Louvre Museum in Paris, MoMA, and the Corning Glass Museums in New York. He has received numerous awards, including first prize at the Venice Biennale, the 12th Milan Triennale, and the Trieste National Design Competition. Noti Massari continues to push the boundaries of design, exploring new ideas and collaborations to create innovative products. His commitment to excellence and his ability to merge art and functionality continue to influence and inspire designers worldwide.
