The KK47000 Safari Chair was designed by Kaare Klint in 1933 and produced by Rud Rasmussen, Denmark. Recognized as one of the first examples of functionalist flat-pack furniture, it set a precedent for modern design with its elegant simplicity and portability.
This piece features a solid wood frame with warm patina and original cognac leather seat and backrest. The armrests are supported by leather straps and brass fittings. The straps appear to have been replaced at a later stage, as the leather looks newer than the seat and backrest.
Good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear and patina to the leather, enhancing its authentic character. The pictures are a part of the description.
