DESCRIPTION:
A beautiful Itilan Itilan chandelier by the renowned Venini of Venice. This timeless chandelier has a brushed steel armature from which hang 144 solid hand-blown crystal glasses. The crystals run down in a prism/triedi shape with each crystal forming a layer below the previous one. Venini is known for this unique technique and style. With this lamp there are 3 different crystals found, a flower shape and the triangle shape of which there are 2 sizes. From any angle this gives a beautiful shape to the lamp and through the crystal glasses the light falls into the room in a soft and warm way. This Mid - Century crystal chandelier is from around 1960. In short a very beautiful lamp for the lover of Venetian glass blowing arts.
ABOUT VENINI:
Paulo Venini (1895/1959) opened a glass factory called Vetri Soffiati Muranesi Cappellin Venini & co in Murano in 1921. In doing so, they took over glass blowers and director of a closed factory. After turbulent years, the company grew under a different name as 1 of the best glassmakers in Venice. They collaborated with many famous designers, bringing into the world many beautiful designs such as this lamp.

STATE:
Overall the lamp is in good condition. Unfortunately as often happens with such a lamp there are you crystals with a little more damage and some with minimal damage. Often it is hardly noticeable and in the whole of it is not noticeable at all. (See last pictures for a better idea of the damage, the first picture you can see the worst damage)
