Sold without a lampshade. This large vintage lamp, made of pyrite-glazed ceramic, dates from the 1970s-1980s and is in the style of the high-end productions of Le Dauphin. It features an elegant baluster silhouette resting on a square base. The superb deep brown glaze is nuanced with metallic black pyrite and enhanced with fine gold trim. The richness of its glaze, its particularly meticulous craftsmanship, and its generous size make it a statement piece, ideal for a contemporary, Seventies, or Hollywood Regency interior.
Approximately 18 cm in diameter at its widest point, 35 cm high for the base alone and 43 cm high with the socket. In very good overall condition and in perfect working order, there is only slight wear to the gilding on the base of the plastic socket, which is discreet once the lampshade is installed. Approximately 1.8 kg.
Equipped with a large screw-in socket (E27), an in-line switch, and a European plug. Fully functional.
