Product description
This beautiful vintage pendant lamp, model 'Onion', was designed by Alessandro Pianon for Vistosi in Italy. (Early 1960s) The orange "onion" shape is made of hand-blown Murano glass. The inside is made of opal white glass, which creates a lovely, wonderfully warm light. The lamp features a steel wire supporting the metal suspension bracket, as is customary with the larger model. Two different sizes and various colors were produced; this is the large version with a diameter of 45 cm in the beautiful Orange color. The lamp is in good condition with only light signs of use and 1 small chip (not very noticeable), see photo.
